A Sad Internet Tale

My morning routine has become fairly simple since retirement.  I get up, exercise, spend time with my Heavenly Father and eat breakfast.  Then I log onto my computer to check emails and facebook.  Yesterday my routine was rudely disrupted by our Internet provider who decided that because we had canceled our phone service, our Internet service was also defunct!!

My angry thoughts turned to embarrassment. How very addicted I am to using the web!  That changed perspective helped me to release the anger and find humor in my Internet-less state as I hatched a plan to get online.
Our new "home" office

Once our darling granddaughter arrived, my husband and I packed Sophia, our electronic paraphernalia and drove to McDonald's.  Did you know that Mickey D's has free wi-fi?  We spent several hours enjoying the craziness of the hamburger joint while connecting to our too-much beloved Internet.  The good news came in the form of an "aha!!"   I'm being prepared for moving overseas.
