Shippers

The shippers came Monday, making leaving our home a sad reality.

Within minutes of arriving the two men had boxes and packing paper, wrapping goods and marking containers which were quickly filled. My sadness turned to amazement.

I left the packing process to the experts.   When I returned to the living room several neat rows of packed goods awaited coding for the trip to Kandern.  My sorrow about leaving turned to joy seeing our German address on the paperwork.

As I watched the loaded truck pull away from the curb, I couldn't help but think that another milestone in our move to Germany had been accomplished.  Relief and joy became the emotions of the day.  We are on our way.
