Not quite what we expected at
a church bazaar-but we are in Europe! |
We visited Basel on Saturday morning with Judy and Dan in order to attend the Anglican Church’s annual Christmas bazaar.

We perused the used books and DVDs, found a Christmas decoration for the entry door, and purchased some Christmas cards. One large table groaned under the weight of many packaged British food items. Had Marmite been on my list to purchase, I could have! Maybe next year. Crowds of folks, most speaking very British English, milled around the tables and tearoom.

| Have an English lunch! |
We ate a traditional English lunch while being entertained by English folk dancing and music. We left feeling as though Christmas might be just around the corner.
